On-Site Program Example
With our "On-site" lease program, the mares remain at Setting Sun Arabians where we take care of all the details to help you produce the foal of your dreams. Please contact us for more information.
By keeping our mare home with us, it eliminates the high cost of transporting and mare care since we charge for only what the mare needs and uses. This monthly fee will be calculated before a lease is signed so you will know in advance the monthly charge and rest assured that you will not be surprised by hidden costs.
If you choose an outside stallion, the lease fee will be adjusted accordingly and semen will then be shipped to our farm by a stallion of your choosing (with our approval). Our vet inseminates your leased mare locally, this saves you the cost of additional mare care at another farm. Our vet has a set fee and charges only according to services rendered.
This gives you a general idea of how affordable and easy it can be. Of course, you no doubt will have questions which we encourage and shall be promptly addressed to insure that there will be no misunderstandings.
